The Short Version

I collect minimal data, don’t sell your information to anyone, and use cookies only for basic site functionality and analytics. If you email me, I keep that to respond to you. If you buy coaching, I keep your payment info as long as legally required.

That’s basically it. But here’s the longer version because lawyers exist.

What I Collect

Analytics Data

I use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site — which pages get traffic, how long people stay, what devices they use. This is anonymized and aggregated. I can’t identify you personally from this data; I just see “someone from Oregon read the Buzzz article for 4 minutes.”

Email Subscribers

If you sign up for the newsletter, I collect your email address. That’s it. I use it to send you the newsletter. I don’t sell or share your email with anyone. You can unsubscribe anytime by clicking the link in any email.

Coaching Clients

If you purchase coaching services, I collect your name, email, and payment information (processed through Stripe — I don’t see your full credit card number). I also keep the videos you submit for form reviews so I can reference them if you have follow-up questions. I delete submitted videos after 90 days unless you ask me to keep them longer.

Contact Form Submissions

When you use the contact form, I receive your name, email, and message. I use this to respond to you and don’t share it with anyone else.

Cookies

The site uses cookies for:

 • Google Analytics (tracking site usage anonymously)
 • Basic site functionality (remembering if you’ve dismissed notices, etc.)
 • Affiliate link tracking (so I get credit when you buy something through my links)

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some site features might not work correctly.

Third-Party Services

I use these services that may collect data:

 • Google Analytics — site analytics
 • Stripe — payment processing
 • ConvertKit — email newsletter
 • Amazon Associates / Infinite Discs — affiliate programs

Each of these has their own privacy policy. I’ve chosen services with reasonable privacy practices, but I encourage you to review their policies if you’re concerned.

Your Rights

You can:

 • Request a copy of any personal data I have about you
 • Request deletion of your data
 • Unsubscribe from emails at any time
 • Opt out of analytics tracking using browser extensions like uBlock Origin

To exercise any of these rights, just contact me. I’ll respond within a few days.

Updates to This Policy

If I make significant changes, I’ll update the “last updated” date at the top and probably mention it in the newsletter. I’m not going to suddenly start doing sketchy stuff with your data — this is a disc golf website, not a surveillance operation.
